Food

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been packing in the food lately.  This strength cycle, especially this part for some reason, the 5×5’s, always makes me want to stuff as much in my belly as I can.  On that note, we’re planning another Whole 30 for August.  I know that a few of you have mentioned it’s a tough month for it, and I get it, summer time, vacations, etc. So, why don’t we do it this way?  30 days of clean eating.  While we’re doing our BBQ’s and vacations and parties and everything else that’s awesome about the summer, let’s focus on the food and food alone.  Obviously there are other things that go with that, dairy, soda, etc., so let’s be smart about it.  Avoid sugar in all forms, dairy, grains, and legumes, but let’s be ok with the occasional adult recreational beverage.  I’m going to stress the word (look out!  Caps and italics incoming!) OCCASIONAL beverage.  That doesn’t mean that every single day we’re having one, or that when we do we get schmammered (I’ll let you guess what that means).  It means making many more good choices than bad ones.  Let me know if you’re interested and we’ll start getting all the information together.
