There’s an App for that

How many apps do you have on your smart phone?  Take a second to count them.  Go ahead, I’ll wait.  [Whistles Jeopardy theme]

Got it?  How many?  10? 20? 70?!  I’m sure there’s quite a few on there.  Now, take a second and  think about how many of them you actually use… Maybe 5-6?  I have 58 apps.  Yes, 58!  I didn’t know that until just now, wow.  That’s amazing.  I use 8 on a regular basis.  8.  I have 50 apps that I really just never use.  So I should either use them, or start deleting them.  I wonder if it would really make my life a little less crowded.

I was talking about this yesterday and we were talking about how I like to use a calendar book to write down my important dates, classes, when bills are due, etc. and she asked why I just don’t use my phone.  To me, I like writing it down.  Totally low tech, but it helps me connect with what’s going on in my life.  It helps me remember more and I like the tactile feel of actually writing it down.  What can you get rid of that you don’t use?  Do you feel like you’d be able to go low tech and start writing things down again?

Daily Dose

Get{Strong}
5×5 Deadlift

Rest for 5-7 minutes.

Then work up to a 1RM deadlift.

If there’s time, we’ll do a Get{Fit} work out as well.
