Get in shape

“I just want to lose a few pounds before I come workout with you.”

I’ve never really understood that.  It’s basically saying that you want to get into shape, before you go to get into shape.  It’s like preparing to prepare.  Why are we always preparing?  Just go!

(Incidentally, that’s a comedic gold movie right there.)

All workouts are scalable to the individuals skill and strength level.  Don’t ever assume that you can’t handle something or a workout.  Always think, KNOW, that you’re capable.  Because you are.  It’s going to suck and it’s going to be hard, but it’s going to be worth it.  Stop making excuses and get out here and do it.  You can do it!

5 RFT:

200m sprint
15 burpees
25 sit ups

  1. I wrapped this up in 17:02. I really wanted sub 17, but I guess I’ll take it. 75 burpees is a LOT of burpees… Anyone love them yet?!

  2. It took me 19:25 but I also had a modified version of the burpee! Didn’t run as far either. Thank you, Chris, for scaling this for me!!
